What we collect

When you submit a form, start a chat, or complete the IT risk check on this site, we collect what you provide: typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your situation. We also collect standard technical information your browser sends, such as pages visited, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, and device and browser type.

Why we collect it

To respond to your inquiry, to provide services you have asked about, and to understand which parts of this site are useful. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

The IT risk check

The risk check on this site asks about how your business handles things like multi-factor authentication, backups, patching, and offboarding. It scores your answers in your browser as you go, and nothing is sent to us while you are answering.

If you then ask for the full breakdown, we store your answers alongside your contact details so we can prepare properly for the conversation. That means we hold a short record of the specific gaps you told us about. We treat that as confidential business information. We do not sell it, we do not share it, and we delete the detailed answers once the conversation has run its course or as soon as you ask us to.

If you would rather we did not hold that, take the risk check and read your result on screen without requesting the breakdown. Nothing reaches us that way.

How we contact you

If you give us your phone number on a form, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone, text, or email about what you asked us. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop texts by replying STOP, unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, or simply tell us to stop and we will.

Chat and session tools

This site uses a chat widget and marketing automation provided by third-party vendors. Conversations you have in the chat window and information you submit through forms are stored in those systems so we can respond to you and keep a record of the conversation. Those vendors process the information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Cookies, analytics, and bot protection

This site does not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording. The chat widget and the forms come from our CRM vendor and set the cookies they need in order to work, and the forms use Cloudflare's bot protection, which processes limited technical information to tell a person apart from an automated script. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and blocking them may affect how the chat and forms function.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and client information as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and contractual obligations, and maintain business records. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted. Detailed IT risk check answers are held only for as long as the resulting conversation is live, and are removed after that.

How we protect it

We apply the same security practices to our own environment that we recommend to clients: multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit, access limited to what a role requires, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Client data

Information belonging to our clients and their systems is governed by the agreement with that client, not by this policy. Where we act as a business associate or process regulated data on a client's behalf, the applicable agreement and law control.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or federal law.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
