Managed IT
Your IT department, without the payroll.
Most small and mid-size businesses do not need a full-time IT hire. They need someone who already knows how the environment is built, watches it constantly, and picks up when something breaks. That is what this is.
Proactive management, not a ticket queue
Monitoring runs around the clock across your workstations, servers, and network. Patches get applied on a schedule instead of whenever someone remembers. Disk space, failing drives, expiring certificates, and backup failures surface as alerts we act on, not as an outage you discover on a Monday morning.
Support that reaches a person
When your team needs help they reach someone who already knows your environment, not a call center reading from a script for the first time. Every inquiry gets a response the same business day. Anything actively down gets a phone number, not a form.
Microsoft 365, administered properly
Licensing, tenant configuration, mailbox and identity management, retention, and the security settings most organizations never turn on. Microsoft 365 is powerful and it ships wide open. We close it down and keep it that way.
Documentation you actually own
Your environment gets documented as we go: what is running, how it is configured, who has access, and why it was built that way. If you ever leave, you leave with that. Holding a client hostage with undocumented infrastructure is not a business model we are interested in.

Common Questions
Managed IT, answered straight.
Do you replace our internal IT person?
Not necessarily. Some clients have no internal IT and Apex is the whole function. Others have someone capable who is buried in day-to-day requests, and Apex takes the infrastructure, security, and monitoring load off them so they can do higher-value work. Both arrangements work.
What happens when something breaks after hours?
Monitoring runs continuously and alerts are acted on. For anything actively down, call 903-893-7108 rather than submitting a form.
Do we have to replace all our equipment to work with you?
No. We start with what you have, document it, and build a prioritized plan for what genuinely needs to change. Replacement happens on your budget and your schedule, not as a condition of getting started.
The rest of the stack.
These are not separate contracts with separate vendors. They are parts of one engagement.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
There is no cheaper version of Apex where we quietly leave the security out. Multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, email defense, and monitoring are part of every engagement, because an environment without them is not managed, it is just watched.
Read more →Infrastructure & Continuity
Most environments we inherit were not designed. They accumulated. A server added here, a switch added there, a cloud service someone signed up for, and nobody holding the whole picture. Infrastructure work is about replacing accumulation with architecture.
Read more →AI Advisory
Your team is already using AI. The only question is whether it is happening with guardrails or in a browser tab nobody told you about. AI advisory is about getting the value deliberately instead of absorbing the risk accidentally.
